Tonight on "LA Sounds" I'll be playing some of my favorite early blues by such artists such as Sister Rosetta Tharp, Marie Knight, Muddy Waters, Howling Wolf Big Bill Broonzy, Big Joe Truner, Big Maybelle, Blue Lu Barker, Elmore James, JB Lenoir and of course, Lazy Lester who I'll have on the phone line to talk about his experience of being a blues artist and playing great guitar and harmonica for the past several decades.
