Tuesday night on the first hour of "LA Sounds" (7:30-8:30 PM) I'll be playing guitar and singing some songs by Otis Redding, Big Bill Broonzy, Phil Ochs, Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash, The Beatles, Elvis Presley and a couple of my own songs about Vietnam. It will be streamed live on KZFR.org and broadcast on 90.1 FM Chico.
I'll be donating the guitar I'll be playing which is an Espana Classical Guitar with nylon strings, solid cedar top, mahogany back and sides & neck, rosewood fingerboard with inlaid mosaic rosette with an excellent high gloss finish and has a great tone and holds tuning very well.
The guitar comes with a carrying case, an electronic tuner, a chord chart and a DVD on how to play guitar.
I'll also be offering guitar lessons and I'm also donating a heavy duty black hoodie sweatshirts, long and short sleeve T shirts and tank tops at all come with the multi-color LA Sounds/KZFR graphic of a vato in East LA with a rooster on his shoulder.
I'll also have the Best of LA Sounds CD's Vol 1-4 as well as the best of Tina Turner, the best of James brown, the best of Do-Wop, the best of Latino, the best Beatles and the best of Cholo music.
