Gratitude from KZFR

We are very happy to share that not only did we meet our much needed fall 2014 pledge drive goal of $50k but exceeded it by $2,780! Thanks to all of you!

Our hearts are full of gratitude and some relief, as well, since our transmitter's electricity bill alone is approx $230 a week. Your pledges will quite literally keep the diverse voices of KZFR community radio broadcasting loud and clear in northern California and beyond!

Thank you to all of our wonderful listeners who called in to pledge their support and became members of the station! If you were too busy and didn't get a chance to call you can still become a Member of KZFR by clicking here.

We also want to thank all the awesome people who gave their time to help answer the phones and take your pledges! We couldn't do it without all of you!

Thank you to: Catalyst, Chico Natural Foods Co-Op, Chico Peace & Justice Center, GRID Alternatives, Independent Living Services of Northern California & Torres Shelter who all filled multiple shifts answering the phones. Click here to learn more about these important local organizations and the other groups who volunteered as well.

Also thank you to the kind community members who volunteered:
Karen Laslo, Laura Sederberg, Hilary Herman, Bobbi Tryon, Jenni Julien, Daniel Vera, Angela Cook, Curtis Pope, Julie Light, Julian Ruck, Sasha Walters, Holly Xiong, Natalie Valencia, Sherri Quammen, Inger Price, Llyod Romine, Treo Benajan, Skye Li, Shauna Osborn, Keitha Mashaw, Debbie Ellison, Jose Lopez, Geni Robinson, Che Pollastrini, Susan Dobra, Hannah Jane Kile, Corey Strange, Christina Comfort, Leah Holbrook, Becky and Mark Rivera! and anyone else we may have forgotten to list here but appreciate.

A very Special Thank You to all the local businesses who contributed during the pledge drive! Thank you to Has Beans, Chico Chai, Pita Pit and the Chico Natural Foods Co-Op for feeding our hard working volunteers for 10 days!
And, of course, a huge thank you to all the businesses that donated items that we passed on to callers as thank you gifts. Click here to see the list of goodies.

Everyone at KZFR appreciates your support!
