What is it about this music that has captured the spirit of so many people from all cultures. Come find out as we explore jigs, reels, slip jigs, hornpipes, polkas and more by fresh young talent as well as the familiar acts that have come through our town. 

You'll hear tunes and songs from relative newcomers like Emma Langford, Séamus and Caoimhe Uí Fhlartharta, The Mulcahy Family, Garadice, Colm Gannon, Beoga, Ship in the Clouds, The Bonny Men, Caroline Keane and Tom Delaney, Socks in the Frying Pan, Dan Gurney, Cé and Caladh Nua. Also all your favorites like Solas, Téada, Liz Carroll, All the Beagleys, Kilfenora Ceili Band, Altan, Sharon Shannon, Christy Moore, Danú, Arcady, etc.

I'll be sharing insights when I can on the backgrounds of tunes/songs as well as trying to demystify the varieties of Irish music for the recently initiated.
