Our Volunteers Create Unique Programming

(R to L) Jan Bielfelt (Ocean of Rock-N-Roll host) Tim Kemper (2 Penny Opera co-host) and Tere Reynolds (Face the Music host) having fun staffing our Info Booth.

Over 100 local folks from our community volunteer their time to create and host unique programs every day plus they help staff all our benefit events all year round!

You have probably met your favorite show host and not even known it. From the Door, to the Raffle table to the Bar all are staffed by our hard working volunteer programmers.

Like at the Door...
(R to L) GM Rick Anderson Playing Dead co-host, David Fuhs Five Mile & Then Some host & office manager Grant Parks Caribbean Dance Radio host greeting folks at the door.

The Raffle Table...

Helpful Security/Safety Team...

And the most popular, the Bar...

KZFR wouldn't be celebrating 27 years of broadcasting without this amazing team of volunteers. Thank you all for your dedication to community radio!

Youth members of the Boys & Girls Club of the North Valley recently toured the station. Our GM gave them a behind the scenes look at an independent, nonprofit community radio station. Your group could too!
Best of Chico is a little different this year - Now there is a Nomination Round! If you value local, independent community radio, please, nominate KZFR before it ends on 5/23...
